Ramen To Bíiru became one of the culinary highlights of our trip to Copenhagen. After visiting the amazing Warpigs, we knew we wouldn't be disappointed by another Mikkeller bar.
The restaurant itself is tucked away down a quiet street, and is compact with bar-style tables lining the windows and a long table running through the middle. There's a small menu, available when you walk in on a fun little machine, where you press what you want, print a ticket and take it to the bar to pay.
We opted for a classic shoyu and a spicy miso ramen, both with lovely eggs. It arrived really quickly, along with ice cold beers. The broth was deep, rich and fatty and the hand pulled noodles were perfectly firm and topped with the most tender pork and a tea stained egg.
The beer was served in an iced glass and was probably the best we've ever had, but that was to be expected from a Mikkeller restaurant.
You can find Ramen To Bíiru at Griffenfeldsgade 28, 2200 Copenhagen, and visit their website here.
